Story

Day 27 (Night)

The final seven return to camp having just blindsided Soledad from the game, with the minority expecting Don to go home, having asked to be voted out due to his declining health. Despite the majority of the Samburu alliance wanting to grant Don his wish, David convinced the group to act otherwise, concerned that Soledad would join the growing women's alliance Abbas had warned him about.

Tonight I convinced my entire alliance to change their minds. If this wasn't me exercising my power successfully then I don't know what would be. I don't think the group is really thinking for themselves, and that's definitely something I can feel positive about. If things stay how they are Don will be the next to go, then I'll use my alliance with Abbas to take out one of the girls. It just seems to be falling into place perfectly for me.

–David

Quote1I just want to explain why...Quote2- David
Quote1Don't you even start.Quote2- Don
Quote1Don c'mon man its ju-...Quote2- David
Quote1-You shut your mouth right now! You (David), you (Adela), you (Luigino), you (Ingrid) and you (Marsha) are a bunch of scumbags! Your word is muck! You think you're gonna win this game by being that trashy!? Well think again!Quote2- Don
Quote1What the heck Don. Calm the hell down.Quote2- Adela
Quote1F***ing scumbags. I wanted to go home. I'm sick. Would you do this to your grandparents!? Huh!? Any of you!?Quote2- Don
When we got back to camp Don really lost his temper with all of us. I personally feel he crossed the line calling us scum and what not. I wanted to vote him out and he didn't even consider that we weren't all behind keeping him here. But he decided to just s**t on all of us.

–Adela

Quote1Don if you want out just quit. I'm sorry but you ask to be voted out... Its still up to us whether you go or not. It happened in the first series and the same result occurred... If you want out you pull yourself out.Quote2- David
Quote1Well I aint gonna quit.Quote2- Don
Quote1Then you'll just have to wait your turn.Quote2- David
Quote1No I aint gonna quit because I'm gonna make sure you head on out of here next...Quote2- Don
Quote1(laughs) Ok and how do you intend to do that?Quote2- David
Quote1Wait and see kid. Wait and see.Quote2- Don
I am disgusted with what the group did tonight. I'm ill and need to get out of here, and instead they send home Soledad who wanted to stick around and play. Its not even strategic because they could have just sent her home next... It's pure spite on all their parts. This'll get me moving now. Oh yes sir you just watch. They want me to quit and I wont give them what they want. I'll make sure to take them all out before I head onto that jury.

–Don

Day 28

The final seven receive tree mail informing them that they will be facing a very special reward challenge, with each tribe member receiving an envelope containing 20,000 shillings. As the group arrive at the reward, Jeff informs them that they will be taking part in a food auction, which is met by the screams and cheers of all the Moto Maji members, feeling ecstatic now that they've been given the opportunity to eat.
Challenge: Survivor Auction
Players will be given 20,000 Shillings (250USD) to be used for the auction. Players may share money and items. Auction will end without notice. The items bought were:

The Moto Maji tribe return from the food auction, all satisfied with the treats they managed to win during the bidding, all thankful that none of the cover items turned out to be bad. Luigino points out that the tribe needs some more water, with Marsha volunteering to go and collect it. Don then volunteers to go with her, stating that he wants to stop lying around, and that he has grown tired of resting. The two head off, with David and Luigino speculating that Don is going to be strategizing against them.

Don lies around doing nothing when he wants to go home. He then says he will get rid of David, and now wants to go off alone with certain people on the tribe. It doesn't take a genius to work out he's strategizing. I don't know how worried I should be about him, especially considering Marsha, Adela and Ingrid could flip sides at any given moment. I think we need to just make sure that they're firmly on our side before the next tribal council, where we can send Don on his way.

–Luigino

Quote1No doubt telling her how they need to get me out next (laughs)Quote2- David
Quote1Probably...Quote2- Luigino
Quote1And you said Soledad would be doing this. Guess you were wrong.Quote2- Adela
Quote1Why would I be wrong? Soledad had a way with words... Don is just cranky and will further distance Marsha from himself the second he opens his mouth.Quote2- David
David is so sure that things will go his way in the game. He doesn't realize that myself, Marsha and Ingrid have a deal to go to the final three together, and that if we wanted to we could flip tonight and get rid of him. Its almost as if the puppet master is actually a puppet himself... I'm pulling the strings of David, whilst he pulls the strings of Luigino... its very Scooby Doo (laughs)

–Adela

Whilst collecting the water, Don does exactly what the others speculated he would, attempting to talk strategy with Marsha in hope that she will turn on the Samburu alliance.

Quote1You cant think you're solidly with them. When I go, and when Abbas goes... its you next.Quote2- Don
Quote1And why is that bad Don? Had I not joined this group I'd be on that jury. If I remember correctly you and Phillis wanted to get me out after Mary.Quote2- Marsha
Quote1That was a mistake...Quote2- Don
Quote1Damn straight it was. I don't get why I should help you Don. You haven't been there for me in the game, and now you want me to stick my neck out for you?Quote2- Marsha
Quote1I just think that if we do this you can make the final two. I don't want it... I just want to outlast those Samburu people. If you can pull one of them over then we have four votes and we send David home... Then we pick them off and I'll step down at the final four.Quote2- Don
Quote1Mmmhm... I get what you mean and that's all good but... If I go and speak to one of them and they freak out, then its me going not you. I don't need to be worrying until six days from now when I'm on the bottom... If I'm on the bottom... Why put myself on the chopping block earlier?Quote2- Marsha
Earlier in this game Don was one of those people who tried to get me out, alienated me from the rest of the group. He pretty much put me in the position I'm in now, and thankfully its not a bad one. I don't see much reason as to why I should help him. He aint done nothing for me and I owe him nothing... I have a final three alliance with Adela and Ingrid, so by no means am I at the bottom of the totem pole. However, I thought it over and I am sure going to the end with those two would be handing away the million, because there's no way a jury would vote for me over them. If I want to play to win, I might have to turn my back on my alliance... or make moves that will gain me the respect of the jury.

–Marsha

Quote1Who were you thinking?Quote2- Marsha
Quote1I said it last night and I stick by it... David. He's running the whole damn thing.Quote2- Don
Quote1I agree. He is shady as hell and I'd be happy to vote him out next. Adela and Ingrid would probably join us too if I spoke to them...Quote2- Marsha
Quote1You're sure?Quote2- Don
Quote1Not sure but... confident that they would.Quote2- Marsha
Quote1Well I'm with you from now on. If you can do this you've got my vote.Quote2- Don
Marsha and I have made a deal to target David next. I think she's finally opened her eyes and realized that if she doesn't break off from that group she'll be taking fifth place. Abbas will undoubtedly join us, so all we need is one more person and this game'll change once again.

–Don

Day 29

Marsha spends her morning attempting to talk with Adela, but struggles to, with David heavily on her case.

Yesterday Marsha spent some time alone with Don. Since she came back from her chat with him she's been acting quite ... she's been noticeably different. She hasn't said anything to myself, Luigino or Ingrid, but instead has been trying to get Adela on her own. I'm guessing Miss Marsha is planning on making a move against one of us. She really should try taking an acting class because I can see through her at this stage. She's been labelled a snake by her own tribe, so this isn't out of character for her.

–David

Quote1What you think Marsha is wanting to talk to Adela so badly about?Quote2- David
Quote1Gosh I wouldn't know.Quote2- Ingrid
Quote1I've sent Luigino to follow them around. Make sure she doesn't get the chance.Quote2- David
Quote1You don't think she's trying to flip do you?Quote2- Ingrid
Quote1That's exactly what I think she's trying to do.Quote2- David
If Marsha is deciding to make a move then I'm sure she'll come to me about it. She, Adela and myself have this pact to work together, and we've even said we will take out David and Luigino before the end of this. After Don's promise to go after David I think we've found the perfect opportunity to do this. I hope we don't have another case of me being left out of strategic chats because last time this happened I had to go with David and Luigino, and they're not the people who I particularly want to play this game with.

–Ingrid

Don and Abbas, whilst working on the tribes shelter, notice Marsha struggling to get Adela on her own. Abbas decides to request the help of Luigino, stating that Don is too tired to work, hoping that this will give Marsha the opportunity she needs. Unable to refuse, Luigino goes over and helps the boys, giving Marsha enough time to talk strategy with Adela.

So far I've been laying low in terms of the supposed big move we're making at the next tribal council. I don't have the target on myself and I don't want to put it there. Don and Marsha seem to have come to an agreement to target David, which I'm fine with. I have the deal with David that I'll break in a heartbeat because realistically he's not going to take me to the end. If we can get Adela on board then we have the votes we need to take control of this thing. I just hope that Marsha has enough time to say what she needs to.

–Abbas

Quote1We only got a few minutes so I gotta be quick.Quote2- Marsha
Quote1Go for it...Quote2- Adela
Quote1I think we should make our move at the next tribal.Quote2- Marsha
Quote1What?Quote2- Adela
Quote1Go after David... It's our best chance... We got Don and Abbas on board, Ingrid's in if you are...Quote2- Marsha
Quote1But its not...-Quote2- Adela
Quote1- You girls ok?Quote2- David
Quote1Yeah, just tired is all.Quote2- Adela
Quote1I hear you. You good Marsha?Quote2- David
David is on me like a fly on s**t. I need the chance to speak with Adela because from those few seconds we have she seems to be freaking out at breaking the deal earlier than we anticipated.

–Marsha

It feels so wrong to clamp down on someone talking. But it could be the difference between me staying and me going home next.

–David

I don't know what Marsha is thinking going after David at the next tribal council. If we do that then Luigino will be pissed, and he'll align with Abbas and Don. We're then stuck in a three-three tie because the guys will catch onto our deal. We need to wait one more round before we make any calls, because then there wont be enough guys to put a stop to our women's alliance. Hopefully Marsha will see sense and wont go forward with this move because it will be the end of her game.

–Adela

Day 30

The tribe receive tree mail informing them that they will be facing their next individual immunity challenge. With everyone acting under the radar the past few days, alliances are beginning to doubt one another, with David now weary of Marsha and the influence she could have over his close ally Adela.

These past few days Marsha has made it clear that she's going to try and shake the game up. I'll put an end to her plans like I have every move that's going against my own. This game seems to play out in my favor time and time again, and it wont be any different today. If I have to I'll make Don call me a scumbag once again, because I'll vote out Marsha first.

–David

Today my main priority is getting some time to talk with my girls Adela and Ingrid so we can send David the hell outta here. He's trying to control the whole game and he has done so since the start. It'll be difficult turning them on him but no task is too big for me (laughs). He's a freakin' psycho... He's try'na be like Big Brother clamping down on conversations and censoring me from talking. He's got another thing coming and her name is Marsha.

–Marsha

Challenge: African Folklore
Jeff will give the tribe a detailed description of African social ritual. After his story, each tribe member had to run to one of seven stations arranged in a circle. Each station contained a choice between two statements, one true, one false, each with a corresponding ostrich egg. The tribe member had to decide which fact was true, then crack open the egg. A false answer would lead to an empty egg; the correct answer would reveal a strip of colored leather contained in the egg. The tribe member would then tie the colored strip to the corresponding band of color on a staff they had been provided. First person to get five strips tied to their staff and return to the center of the circle would win immunity.
Winner: David

The final seven return to camp, with David wearing immunity for the third straight time, much to the disappointment of Marsha, Don and Abbas, who had planned to vote him out at tonight's tribal council. David doesn't hide his amusement when returning to camp, openly stating that he's grateful to have won, and doesn't feel he needed it as he knows how "loyal" his alliance is, before looking over at Marsha, who stares back at him.

David just pisses me off. He is so ugh! Just shut up! No one here cares that you're immune once again. I'll take out your buddy Luigino and watch you squirm on your own!

–Marsha

Quote1(whispering) Do Luigino.Quote2- Marsha
Quote1Got it.Quote2- Don
Quote1Ok.Quote2- Abbas
Tonight David won immunity which infuriates me. He's scum. He needs to get voted out before its too late, and I'm worried that people are so far up his ass that they'll just vote with him. We've changed our vote to Luigino now, because he's the second best option. This could be easier because Adela and Ingrid don't like Luigino as far as I'm aware, so it should be easy voting him out tonight. But you never know because there's been three tribal councils for this merged tribe... and at every single one someone went home who wasn't expecting it.

–Don

David, Luigino, Ingrid and Adela end up together whilst getting their things ready for tribal, using the opportunity to discuss the vote.

Quote1We're voting Don right?Quote2- Adela
Quote1Maybe we'll go for your girl Marsha...Quote2- David
Quote1What?!Quote2- Ingrid
Quote1Well she's coming after me so I might as well snap her neck first.Quote2- David
Quote1I'm good with Marsha.Quote2- Luigino
Quote1David I'm not voting for her.Quote2- Adela
Quote1So you're protecting someone who is coming after me? Is that how it is?Quote2- David
Quote1Listen... ok yes she did mention your name but she wasn't set on it! I'll talk her out of it!Quote2- Adela
I freaked out when David said he was going to target Marsha. I love Marsha, I really do... But I had no choice but to reveal her plans. I really think that if I do this I can somehow... Save her... Because David will think my loyalty is to him, and that I can talk Marsha out of this plan. I want David out as much as she does, but I don't think its wise to make this kind of move until the final five.

–Adela

Quote1You're good with that yes? Vote Don... I'll get Marsha with us. We can deal with her another time.Quote2- Adela
Quote1Fine but keep her under control.Quote2- David
Quote1Don has been stirring it up... Probably time he went anyway.Quote2- Luigino
If I held all the power I'd be sending Marsha home tonight. Adela gives me her word that she can sort out Marsha before the vote, getting her rational mind back. Just to be safe I think its time that I had a word with Abbas, because if I can get him to throw a vote it'll prevent the likelihood of the misfits banding together to blindside Luigino. I know they'll come after him because I'm once again safe (kisses the necklace).

–David

David goes over to Abbas, telling him that he'd like him to vote for Marsha. He tells Abbas that they're voting out Don, but would like Abbas to vote for Marsha to prove his loyalty. Abbas agrees, but asks why he doesn't want him to vote for Don with the group, to which David replies "I want to give her (Marsha) a fright".

Tonight David thinks I'm throwing a vote for Marsha. Which is a ridiculous idea even if I was going to be loyal. My vote is going towards Luigino and I'll happily face the consequences of my actions if things don't work out. We have to take the risk and go after Luigino, because if we don't we'll be picked off one by one.

–Abbas

Marsha gets a moment alone with Ingrid, planning to talk with her before going to solidify Adela's vote on Luigino. However, the conversation doesn't go as she planned, causing her to completely rethink her strategy.

Quote1I just want to let you know how I plan to vote tonight. Sorry for getting to you so late but they've been watching me like hawks.Quote2- Marsha
Quote1Is this about you wanting David out?Quote2- Ingrid
Quote1Yeah... Adela told you?Quote2- Marsha
Quote1She told me... David... and Luigino.Quote2- Ingrid
Quote1You're f***ing kidding me!?Quote2- Marsha
Quote1Wish I was. I'd have been down with that. She's too loyal to him at this point. She and him have been tight since the start.Quote2- Ingrid
Quote1C**p... this just throws me right on the chopping block don't it.Quote2- Marsha
Quote1Well, they're not coming after you. Don is still the vote.Quote2- Ingrid
Adela you f***ing idiot! She sold me out! She just went and sold me out to Luigino and David. I'm toast now. Adela just showed me where her heart is, and its right in David's hands. Ingrid is my only hope, I need to pull her over and we need to pull something big off tonight. Luigino is weak in challenges and a weak player. Adela is a threat. Adela is also no longer on my side. I may as well kill two birds with one stone, taking out a threat and an enemy. Adela has to go home tonight.

–Marsha

Quote1We gotta take her out.Quote2- Marsha
Quote1Oh no... please don't do this. Just vote Don.Quote2- Ingrid
Quote1Ingrid open your eyes sweetie. You and I are on the bottom of this thing. Adela is with THEM... not us!Quote2- Marsha
Quote1We don't know that.Quote2- Ingrid
Quote1She sold me out. Who says she wont do the same to you?Quote2- Marsha
I don't know if I should have told Marsha about Adela spilling the beans on her plan. I felt like it was the best thing to do but it seems to have just angered Marsha to the point where she wants to vote Adela out now. (sighs and puts her hands on her head) Now my two closest allies are against each other, and I have to pick a side between them. Do I vote out Adela, losing a close friend and betraying the tribe I've been with since the start... or do I vote out Don, angering Marsha... but I don't actually vote her out. Maybe there's a hope of reconciliation with the second option. But I don't want to live to regret this decision and realize I didn't take Adela out before she did the same to me. I'm the swing vote, and I'm going to piss a lot of people off.

–Ingrid

With only an hour left before tribal, everyone gets to work solidifying votes for their plans. Marsha goes and speaks with Don and Abbas, letting them know that Adela is the new vote, much to their delight, as both see Adela as one of the biggest threats in the game. Adela is seen speaking with Marsha, letting her know that they're going to vote for Don, and that she's made sure David wont be mad at them. Marsha smiles and thanks Adela, stating she's "glad to have a friend so loyal", and that she'll join them in voting for Don. The group head off for tribal, with Ingrid knowing that she has to pick a side before she goes up to cast her vote.

Tonight Don is going home. I think its the safest option for my alliance. I still trust Marsha, and I know she's hurt that I shut down her plan to blindside Luigino or David. I think after tonight we can rekindle our bond and plan to make our move once Abbas and Don are both out of the picture.

–Adela

As far as I'm aware tonight we're going to cause an upset. Ingrid is the deciding vote, and I hope she picks wisely. I do doubt that she'll turn on her original tribe for my sake, but one can hope. If Adela goes tonight the game will become an even playing field, because she's usually not on anyone's radar despite being one of the biggest threats to actually win this thing.

–Don

At tribal council Don talks about his disgust at the group for voting Soledad out over himself, before going on to say that him staying has given him new life in the game, and that he plans to use the life to take out David, evoking laughter from his tribe members, including David, who puts his hand on Don's shoulder, showing that despite their differences they don't truly dislike each other. David states that he feels it'll be a straight forward vote, despite "certain individuals" trying to cause trouble by plotting. David refuses to name which individuals he is talking about, but says they will need to work on forgiveness once they leave tribal council. Don decides to speak up, knowing that Abbas and Marsha are trying to fly under the radar. He tells the tribe that tonight is the perfect opportunity for them to make a move, and that if they do those who make the move are "guaranteed final four positions". After the vote, the group await the reveal of the votes, with Don, Marsha and Abbas eager to see whether Ingrid has made the big move against Adela. Jeff reveals one vote for Adela, and three votes for Don, not to anyone's surprise. However, panic soon arises when the next two votes are revealed to be against Adela, revealing that both Abbas and Marsha have gone against their words. Jeff pulls out the final vote, with Adela sat wide eyed, and Ingrid looking towards the floor. The vote is flipped, and in the end it is Don who is voted out of the game, much to the disappointment of Abbas and Marsha, who feel Ingrid has given away the opportunity to take over the game. Don wishes the group luck, before smiling as he leaves the tribal council area. Adela, David and Luigino glare at Marsha and Abbas, who clearly look disappointed, with Ingrid hiding her face from the duo, knowing that they will both be the targets due to her inability to make a move.

Voting Confessionals

Hopefully tonight there will be another big shocker in Africa, and you'll join the jury. Best of luck.

–Abbas

As per your wishes, sorry its a tribal late.

–Adela

Donald, my man. You kicked some butt considering how old you are. No hard feelings.

–David

Oh you made a mistake not getting rid of me before, hopefully my ruthlessness sends you home, then we'll see how your buddies cope.

–Don

I am so sorry. I didn't know who to side with, and I just feel that this will anger people less. I want to win this game, and if I vote out Adela I lose three jury votes. I'm sorry, but you did want to go home, so this is easier.

–Ingrid

You're a tough old man, and it sucks to now be the oldest guy out here.

–Luigino

You and I went from allies to enemies, and its all your doing. We had the perfect chance to take out David or Luigino, and your fear held you back and caused this. I hope that you and I can be friends after this, and get over the fact that you sold me out and I voted you out (slight laugh). Guess we're even.

–Marsha

Final Words

You know it sucks that Ingrid didn't make the move with us tonight, because I really think she'd have made that final two. Now she's at the mercy of two big threats and uh... Luigino (laughs). I wish everybody luck and understand that this is just a game. I pushed myself to the limit, and if this game has taught me anything its that I'm no longer the young man I once was. I don't have the strength to push myself as hard as I use to. Maybe its time for me to stop working and to fully retire. Yes I no longer practice as a lawyer but I still get involved. Maybe its time to say goodbye to that life, and spend more time with my family... my beautiful wife, my amazing kids... and my brilliant grandkids.
