Survivor: Marquesas is the fourth season of James' Survivor FanFiction. Sixteen strangers will compete against one another while battling the elements. They must learn to adapt, or they will be voted out. If they can learn to outwit, outplay, and outlast the rest, they will be given the million dollar prize and the title of sole survivor!
The winner of the season was Daisy, defeating Duana in a 6-1 vote for the title of Sole Survivor and the $1,000,000 prize. Ibrahim was named the "Player of the Season", winning $100,000.
Production
This season featured sixteen all new castaways, divided into two tribes of eight. The tribes this season were Maraamu, wearing green, and Rotu, in blue. The tribes are the Tahitian words for "southern wind" and "rain". On Day 20, the two tribes merged into the Soliantu tribe, a word coined together to mean "sacred allegiance to the sun", wearing magenta.
Twists
- Meager Supplies: For the first time, the castaways were not given any food rations (such as a limited supply of rice or canned goods). Both tribes' supply crates were drastically reduced to only a magnifying glass, three pans, a fillet knife, and two water containers but no food items whatsoever.
- Rock Draw Tiebreaker: In case of a deadlocked tie and there is no consensus as to how the vote will go, everyone, including people who did not receive votes except the owner of the Immunity Necklace, will pick a rock from a bag. Inside the bag there is one purple rock, and the contestant who gets it will be automatically eliminated from the game.
- Tribe Swap: Tribe members switched tribes during the tribal phase.

Trivia
- This is the first season to feature a female winner, as well as Daisy being the first Caucasian female to win the game.
- Marquesas features the first all female final two. However, like the previous three seasons it also features an interracial final two.
- Duana holds the distinction of being the first African-American female to reach the final tribal council.
- This is the first season where the Sole Survivor also won the most individual immunity challenges, having tied with Lotus with three wins each.
- This season is the first to have the first person voted out be a female.
- It is also the first time that the first person voted out was an ethnic minority.
- This season features the first Muslim contestant.
- Due to the timing of the seasons setting (post-the 9/11 attacks), and the coincidental inclusion of an individual from the Islamic faith, it was decided that the theme of religion would play into the season (thus the decision to write several other characters as practising Christians).
- Duana received the most votes throughout the season, with 9 against her during the season.
- Although unsure about this season (on paper feeling it was average overall), the author regarded Marquesas as one of his favourites after writing. This is due to the likeability and diversity of the cast, particularly those that reach the late stages of the game.
- Additionally, Daisy had initially been regarded as one of the weakest winners on paper, but after writing felt that she was underestimated and much more impressive than originally thought.
